We were asked to play for a group of medical students at the Harris Park Conference Centre, Preston, on the 18th September 2008. We didn't know what to expect but with proceeds to the Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team we thought it was a good cause. Thanks to Lindsay and Kathryn for their efforts, and several others I'm sure, it turned out to be a reet good do! Here are a few photos taken by Roger Downing - caller extroardinaire!

On February 1st. 2008 the Union Street Band played to support the local Handicapped Childrens Pilgrimage Trust group. John McAlister called the dances. It was held at The Manxman Hotel in Blackburn and was a great success. Here are some snaps of the event.
