Fiddle strings
A much talked about and critical part of any fiddle sound. Are they as important as the instrument itself or does folk music really benefit from using top quality strings designed for classical performance? What do you think?

Learning to play
I've been playing for 12 years and I know now that learning fiddle will be a continual process. Have you any ideas about how to learn tunes more easily or easy ways to remember first bars? Or if you think the oral tradition is longsince dead and buried, let's be hearing from you. |
